When it rains it pours...Can anyone help out with rescue? We desparately
need any help we can get housing and evaluating some rescue dogs until
homes can be found.

We have in shelters and broken homes right now:

1.  A 2 year old male in a shelter in Washington, D.C. who needs
fostering to evaluate his "adoptability".

2.  A 10 month old neutered/microchipped male; an owner turn-in at the
Prince William County Virginia shelter.  Any of you sell any pups to
that area???  Don't know who the owners were but do know that they have
a 2 and 4 year old children and the wife is pregnant again...thats the
reason they gave for giving him up.  This all breed person (Lisa Bradley
at 703/360-3340) says she will pull him out of the shelter tomorrow. 
She will call Janet Ingram after she has him.  

3.  There is a 5 year old neutered male near Winchester, Virginia in
need of a home.  His family is getting a divorce. He belonged to the
husband mostly and he didn't take him.  His name is Boomer.  Friendly,
good with kids.  We know he that he came from Colorado but have no
breeder name.

4.  Also, there is a 2 year old female in Richmond, Virginia.  Again,
divorce...the lady has to move to an apartment and can not take her. 
Good with children and other dogs.  Best I can figure, she came thru
Cindy Clark in Culpeper (who has moved to the San Francisco area)  

We did have an 8-yr old female in Glen Burnie, but happily the lady who
picked her up and took her to the shelter decided to adopt her. One
happy ending!!!
