Baron has brown stains around his eyes too.  There's nothing wrong with his 
eyes - just the colouring.  And yes - they can be a bit messy.  Just look at 
it as their way of helping you mop your floors :-)  Baron has the "less than 
perfect mouth", which tends to hold about a pint of water (only kidding, but 
it's quite a bit), which he promptly sprays around the room when he shakes 
his head.  But yes - they are lovers!  Wouldn't be without them!
