This is why these foods have been formulated Chrissy, precisely to stop the
growth rate from accelerating in the Large breeds and this is why some of us
who have experienced the rapid growth rate in puppies many years ago when we
did not have these options of food now use them. Even more reason to use
them is if you do have a bloodline where rapidly growing puppies have been
noted then hopefully you can cut back on growing problems and allow the
puppy to grow at a more unaccelerated rate . Experience with these things
can teach us such a lot.
