Thankfully I am pretty ignorant on the subject, so will defer to others for 
this information.  

You are to be applauded on your decision to not breed Annie Moose.  Hard 
choice and you will always wonder if it was a mistake.  Many never seem to 
even consider this as a choice.  Maybe this forum will help defuse some of 
the negative part of disclosure or possibly more correctly, acknowledgment of 
the problem accompanied by we are "working on it" type psyche.  That's what 
we as breeders do and we must take the lead.  Clubs are politics.  Individual 
breeders are the grass roots of the dogs.  John Cobb, maybe not known to many 
of you now, but a prominent breeder and then Editor of the Bulletin of the 
GPCA said one time and I will paraphrase:

"A breeder can influence the breed for good or bad more than any club or 
committee ever."  John was a wise man and I never forgot his wise words. 

Others who appear to be quiet will help when they feel safe with the forum 
and that their assistance is not some trap or trick to trash them.
