LOL Lynn, yes, welcome to the wonderful world of adolescence!!! Ten months old
is the PRIME time of destructiveness. Best way to curb it is to do as you're
doing and watch him closely in addition to puppyproofing EVERYTHING. Princess
ate the dining room table and chair legs at ten months, but has since stopped
all destructive behavior (she's 16 months now). If you can catch him in the
act of grabbing something or chewing something, take it away, scold him for it
and give him something you WANT him to chew like a marrow bone. When he chews
the goodie, praise him lavishly and hold the other off limits object up in
front of him and scowl at him while saying "Don't chew this!, chew this(touch
the goodie)!"
