Re: [PyrNet-L] GPCA protest rebuttal
OK. Now I'm a little new to the Internet and domains and their names. My
understanding is that one usually pays for the the services of someone to
"construct" (for lack of a better word) their domain site. Or, of course,
the people can do it themselves. If someone pays a person or company to do
this construction would it not follow that the person or persons putting out
the funds then own the domain? If the person doing the construction would
then own it why should they receive compensation? I don't know that this is
necessarily a GPCA issue, I will have to do some more homework on their
Constitution and Code of Ethics. I would hope, however, that the Board would
be impartial enough and intelligent enough to make a fair decision based on
these aforementioned documents. If someone does something unethical in one
instance (and I'm not sure this is the case here) would they not be likely
to do it in another instance? I'm glad I'm not on the GPCA Board. I guess
eventually we will all find out how this ends.
At least I hope so.
