[PyrNet-L] CHAT: rainy spell broken & we're walking in the sun!!

   Finally our record-breaking rainy spell was broken yesterday and we had no
rain  and sun!!  After 86 days straight of rain and flood conditions in our
county and our road flooded for days, it was wonderful!!  However we did have
extremely dangerous driving conditions yesterday morning as it froze at night
and with all the rain on the roads freezing into sheets of ice it was bad.
However the school busses were able to get off their emergency routes for
first time in three days and drive down our road again. By 10 am it was
warming up and sunny and really nice!!  After work we all took the dogs for a
long walk on the hundreds of acres of logging roads across from us for hours
and the dogs were so eager and excited and there were so many smells for them
to sniff that they were in 7th heaven!! They are starting to figure out that
Mattie belongs on the right side of Albert now and sometimes correct
themselves if one of them gets on wrong side. Of course Albert's way of
correcting it once was to step over Mattie and he ended up with the coupler
and leash tangled up under him!!  Oh, well.... most of the time he gets it
right!!  They sure are a striking pair walking together!!
