March Dog Fancy ( Irish Wolfhound on cover ) has a good article on page
52, on insatiable thirst.  Includes the Diabetes Insipidus that Angie
mentioned, as well as other conditions.  Rather timely considering your
question Susan.  Any of my Pyr. books, including the Dec. issue of Dog
Fancy, with the article on Pyrs. does not suggest that Pyrs. are esp.
known for having that particular problem.  But of course that doesn't
mean they can't!  Good luck, give a cuddle to Seamus, and we hope this
turns out to be nothing but a real thirsty dog!!  Cindy.  P. S.  Let us
know what the Vet. finds out.
