[PyrNet-L] CHAT: Albert jumps up on the scale!
Well, I had to go to the vet the other day to pick up medicine for our cat
Chester. I decided to take Albert along as he loves to go to the vet's and it
was time to weigh him again.
He enjoyed his visit with the office gals as usual. They lavish him with
hugs and he lavishes them with slimes. When we got back to the scale he jumped
right up on it, even before the gal got a chance to get the scale to register
zero and be lowered down all the way. So I got him back off the scale until it
was time. Then he leaped on it again, acting very eager. I figure he must know
what is up and realize that he's on a diet until his weight gets down a bit.
So he's probably eager to prove he's lost enough to get off his diet now!
He is 29.5 inches high at his withers now and weighs 112 pounds. Franky we
were shocked he didn't weigh more than that! Of course he probably weighed a
bit more a few weeks ago - before the diet! Their winter coat sure can be
deceiving! Haven't weighed him in 3 mos. and could've sworn he'd gained more
than than 6 or 7 pounds.
I apologize for not converting this to metric right now. My 22 yr. old son
just got a new monitor and keyboard drawer and rearranged things and now I
cannot find my conversion chart. Plus I have been up all night and don't
trust my memory right now to figure it out without it.
