Congratulations! There's nothing like puppy breath!!! I used to say, and still
do, there's nothing like a German Shepherd Dog...but now I have to add..."I will
never live without a Pyr in my home and life." These are very special dogs for
very special people who will give the time and effort to raise, train and love
them...

I can only speak from my ex-pyr-ience...Willow, my 11 month old rescue, wants to
be with me and near me all of the time. When I get my coat on to go out she's
disappointed if I don't grab her leash, too. Wherever I go...she's
there...whether it be in my home office, at work (I take her with me) or just
going from room to room around the house...she's my shadow, my friend, my
darling, my Willow Pillow...

Willow was very easy to train not to do something, i.e., eat things around the
house that were inappropriate if I was gentle in my approach and used a firm
voice (she is very sensitive)...as far as clicker training...don't know, never
tried that. I do know that her recall (when in the house or fenced yard) is very
good if I use a happy, positive voice and reward her with a little "cookie" when
we get in the house...about 95% reliable.
