[PyrNet-L] Home for my Pyrenees and Malamute mix
Hello Everyone,
Excuse my intrusion. I just subscribed to the list in hopes to find a home
for my Great Pyrenees, Cody, and my Malamute mix, Jake. We are trying to
find a good home for them, and will only consider homes that will take both
of them. They are both four years old, and have grown up together. Here is a
few facts:
Cody
------
Cody is an unregistered neutered male Pyrenees that we have raised since 6.5
weeks old. His parents are both working Pyrs from Tennessee. We picked him
out from a litter of about nine, and have pictures of both parents and all
his siblings. My parents raised one of his brothers, and we know the owners
of three of his other siblings.
Cody is all white, and weighs around 115 - 120 lbs. He has a very athletic
build compared to some Pyrs. He is tall (probably around 28 or 29 inches at
the shoulders), and has a very long body. He is very gently, loves kids, and
loves to snuggle. He makes a very good watch dog, as do most Pyrs, and will
stop barking on command (for a while, at least ;-). He is not very dominant
towards other dogs, but can certainly defend himself when needed. He is a
very well behaved dog, and is very well trained and obedient.
Jake
------
Jake is a neutered male Malamute mix that we got through an adoption agency
as a puppy. He is black/silver with white markings. He is a couple of months
older than Cody, and is the leader of the two. He is very loyal, and loves
children. He loves to wrestle, fetch, and whatever else you're in the mood
to do. He loves attention. He is very friendly, but tends to take a
leadership role around other dogs. He is not aggressive, but is very
protective towards his family, and will fight to the death to defend them (I
know, sounds like a Pyr). He is also very well behaved, and very well
trained and obedient.
We are only interested in homes that have a fenced in area, and want both of
them together. They are primarily outdoor dogs, but know how to behave
inside as well. The only reason we are trying to find a home for them is
because we recently had a baby and have another one on the way. They deserve
more attention than what we can give them right now, and are open to giving
them away to a good home that will give them the attention they need.
Here is a picture of them greeting our first child after arriving home from
the hospital:

We can tell you a lot more about them if you are serious about adopting
them. Please contact me via my E-mail address if you are interested:
