[PyrNet-L] chat: coat oops..

I do not know if any of you remember my confession as to my dirty little secret of being obsessive compulsive when it comes to JOY's coat, well....funny thing happened this evening. I looked on the floor to see this HUGE wad of white hair roll by on the floor, looking at JOY - I could see it just coming out like it was alive or of an alien species. I took the rake and went to work, oh my god I think she is blowing coat. Her pants - her ruff everywhere. It is not cold here and in fact has been a bit warm, is it possible for her to do this now? she was 10mos old today. I thought it would happen when she is a year or year & half?
Could I have made this happen by over raking and combing? Her undercoat is what is coming out and oh gosh it is everywhere! I can't get it all! Talk about intensive therapy, I simply cannot rake enough to keep up and she is happy as a lark and wants to run & pounce after bugs. I think it feels good to lose the undercoat? Any ideas or help is appreciated. If I drank I would be having one right now...Dallas passed away before he blew his coat so I have never been through this before. There is hair on the ceiling fan...is this normal? If I wet it will it come out easier? thanks..
Evelyn & JOY
