Yep, some will. Depends on the dog and the dogs personality. If they want
out bad enough they will make a way. Our first dog pen was of 10 ga chain
link. Put a female in it who was coming in season she was out in two
hours. Chewed right through that brand new wire. Mitzi had Avery in her
son's bedroom and she went right though the windows and screens.
