Oh, you poor thing! <vbg!!>. I've never had ANY of my Pyrs try to escape in any way. I
used to laugh at the stories about what escape artists they were. And then I got a rescue
Pyr in to foster a month or so ago. That dog put Houdini to shame! She dug, jumped,
clawed or chewed her way out of everything. When she finally jumped out of my son's
bedroom window I gave her to Beverly Coates to keep in her "way bad heavy duty dogs
pens". She's even gotten out on Beverly so I didn't feel so bad <wink>.
If it makes you feel better, I've never had any of mine destroy window blinds or window
frames or anything of the sort. I've lost a shoe or 2 to a puppy, and I do recall a phone
book torn to shreds from a puppy, but that's the extent of it.
Shepherds are actually known to be a LOT more destructive than Pyrs when left alone. I
think Willow just wants to look out the window.
