   If you have a high mineral content in your water, especially iron, it can
both turn the coat a reddish tint and also can make it itchy if too high of a
content. In fact it can also turn your own hair reddish tint, but would be
harder to notice than on white fur. Do you notice any rustr-colored staining
where water may drip often in tub or toilet or sink?
