Hi Dave,

I think you must not have been on the list very long, if you can think that
about Janice! From reading of the list, I would say that if Janice isn't down
on the floor at home playing with Albert, it's because she is a) staying with
him on the floor of the vet's office after hours to keep him company; b)
arranging parties for him with his littermates; c) sitting in a tent camping
with him; and d) (I think I remember correctly) buying a new van for him
because she didn't have air conditioning in the old one!

As for me, if I don't get down on the floor with Travis and Sugar, it's most
likely because they are already up on the bed with me!

I'm only five years with this breed, but it seems to me they have as distinct
personalities as people (only better). And some are easily obedience-trained,
and some maybe not. Travis was an incredibly dominant pup who, at seven weeks
of age, would launch himself from ten feet away and shred the rear pocket off
your jeans as you walked by. Not to be mean, but because it was fun! Thank
goodness we all survived his puppyhood! We wouldn't have done it without the
help of a good breeder and without learning to use gentling techniques instead
of rough stuff when he went into his fits...

We should all have a mom like Janice!
