Well guys, thank you for the thank you's!

I have to tell you the story.
We happened to have a trip scheduled to St. Louis to see my in-laws for
next weekend.  It's been planned for awhile.  We did a bunch of planning
to accomodate our pyr Lucy, since she is not welcome in the homes of my
in-laws (makes visiting difficult!!).  I will not kennel her, she goes
where I go.  The in-law people are not dog friendly type (tell you
anything??).
So there's some stress for me.  (Mitzi.....give me dogs over people
anyday!!)  Then just yesterday I learned there is a big family feud
going on there in St. Louis, but you know, they still want to see us
(oh, wonderful).  So here I am taking my last two vacation days of the
year to visit some crabby people who won't like my dog. (Sorry I'm
venting!!!)

I saw Angie's mail this am, and contacted her immediately that we are
just so happening to be driving to St. Louis next week.  (Sounded like
fate to me.....)  We have a extended cab pick-up, but no cap on the
back.  I hesitantly said I'd be happy to commute Bella pending she gets
along well with Lucy, and barring any *major* disapproval from my
husband once I  informed him what I had agreed to !!!!

Now the warm and fuzzy part.  My husband is out of town, I just agreed
to transport 100lbs of fur <G> on a 10 hr trip in crammed quarters!!!
Oh boy wait till he calls me at lunch-time today.........So, what does
he say to me when I tell him?

"Wonderful! Why don't you see if you can get a cap for the truck by this
Saturday." 
(We really can't afford it just now, we were waiting until spring)

So I'm spending my last two vacation days of the year to help a rescue
get to her new home.  I feel like Christmas!!  *NOW* the trip is worth
it.
