Re: [PyrNet-L] Debate; Chat: Cornering Dog and Responses
Exuse me but you did say you'll be damned if your are going to sit on the
floor and tell a dog why they shouldn't do things. But like I also said I'm
just a 60 year old man who feels that animals really do understand when we
talk to them. My dogs are very valued members of our family and they know
they are loved. In return for that love they give us great love back. By the
way, Angel, our pyr, loves to lay on the floor in front of the TV and then I
lie on the floor using her as a pillow. I also make it a practice to wrestle
and play with them. Our other dog is a golden. We have mock battles and they
growl and snarl but when they "attack" me I get licked to death. We also play
"hide the bisquit" and they have great fun looking for the bisquit. From the
response I have had regarding talking to dogs, I can only assume that I'm not
the only looney who talks to his dogs and knows they understand.
