<< Mrs. Tellington has been using this method for years and I think she has
published a few books. I learned it from my mother who happened to attend a
 seminary years ago on it.
I know she is the founder of TTeam in Santa Fe. She started using it on
horses and then found it to work on all animals. As I recall, Penquin Books
 pubished something on it.
Their address is 375 Hudson St., New York, NY 10014.
 Hope this helps.

Explaining what it is would help! If you use it all the time, can't you
explain it? I assume, since it's called Tellington Touch that it involves
touching the dog. Where on the dog do you touch? How light a touch? Up &
down? Circular? Whole hand? Both hands? Fingers only? What position is dog in?
What position are you in? Do you hold the dog tightly or loosely? How does
this help in training the dog? How do you link training a dog not to jump up
to this TT method to get the dog to understand? How would you teach a dog not
to paw you unless invited to using this method? How would you teach a dog to
drop into a lay down or sit position when it gets loose and starts to run off
using this method? How would you teach a dog not to lunge at other dogs and
try to play with them using this method? How would you train a dog not to play
wild like it did with littermates using this method? These are all natural
acts a pup would naturally try to do, not learned behavior problems. But
things that are important to find ways to teach the dog that they are not
appropriate. Hopefully non-violent ways. That's why I and others asked for an
explanation of this method and hoped for an answer that would explain the
technique. Instead we got our methods and relationships with our dogs
questioned. And told to go buy a book. I'd like to know what it is first and
how it works and how it aids in training dogs and cats. Is it really a
training method or simply a relaxation technigue and touch therapy to bring
you closer to animal and get it to feel close to you and trust you? What I
need is a training method. I already massage my hubby, kids, dog, cat and
other dogs at times and get them to relax and have a close relationship with
me.
