Re: [PyrNet-L] Puppy stories
He hasn't done it for a while, but until recently Paddington loved to just
carry one of his stuffed toys around--out to the yard, wherever. When he
was about three, someone gave him a small "Barney" and this became his
favorite. It looked so comical--Paddington measures a full 32 inches at
the shoulder--to see him carrying his little purple Barney! He has never
shredded any of his toys. Ivy on the other hand loves to tear anything
fuzzy into little pieces. And when we are out she likes to have something
of ours--preferably a shoe or boot--just to rest her head on. Of course,
it gets seriously slimed, but never a tooth mark on it. Our first pyr,
Sugar, used to like to carry around an old plastic food bowl--I didn't
know her until she was an adult, but it was the only "toy" I ever saw her
play with. I've never encountered another breed where each one seems quite
so individual, yet maintains the breed characteristics! I guess that
individuality *is* a breed characteristic!
