[PyrNet-L] CHAT: Update on Mary

   I just got off the phone with Mary Staudinger at the hospital where she
just had major abdominal surgery yesterday! She said to tell you all she's
gonna get through this OK. She had her surgery and has to adjust to the
changes it brings to her life and it will take a while to heal from the
surgery. She's going through that needing-to-cough-to-clear-lungs--but-it-
hurting-like-crazy-when-you-do-- part now, that follows many surgeries. Since
it was an abdominal surgery it really hurts a lot to cough! 
   She gave me a list of people not on the Pyr lists to contact for her. I
gave her the messages from the 6 of you that had sent well-wishes for her
through me. It made her feel better to know you care!  Anyone that wants to
can send messages to me (MagEBroD@aol.com) to give to her daily when I call
her and I'll also send them on to her e-mail address too, or you can send them
to her e-mail address directly, but then she won't see them until she gets out
of the hospital in 4-6 or so days.(PYR4@aol.com)  She hasn't been told yet
when she'll be allowed to go home.
   I'm sending her some flowers today, now that she's awake to enjoy them!
Let's keep those thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery coming her way!
The hard part for me is remembering I shouldn't try to make her laugh as it
hurts her!! Have to aim for smiles, not laughs!!
