[PyrNet-L] CHAT, CARE, HEALTH: Question about bath

bathe them in cold water and better to bathe them in lukewarm to warm

(Which I always do in the bathtub.) I had read on the lists that they could
actually die from a heart attack or shock or something from being bathed in
cold water. Right?
   Then I got to wondering....
Why do they swim and play in cold water in pools and creeks and ocean,
then?? And seem to love it? Just got me curious......Any ideas?>

When they swim and play in pools, creeks, a lake, in the sea or at other
places they do not get wet to the skin, because we do not put shampoo on
them. Think of how water resistent their coat is, when you wash them. They
do not get really wet until, you put the shampoo on.
I don't know if they could actually get a heart attact from being washed in
really cold water, but I am sure they would not enjoy it.
Try to wash your own hair in cold water, and see if you like it, and think
how much longer it takes to wash a pyr. Apart from that I don't think they
would get quite as clean and nice, and it would probably be difficult to
get the shampoo out of the coat.
