of whatever is going on!!! >>
I think you're right! Albert usually rides in the van between the front
seats and behind the console, often with his front paws on the console and
face in the windshield!! Loves to be able to look around. He also thinks that
I am there for him to lean on when we corner. Plus he likes me to be petting
him constantly, too.
My hubby's commuter car is an old Honda Civic and Albert was actually
trying to fit between the front seats and come up to the front when hubby and
I were both there already!!! I kept shoving him back. He was very persisitent
and just didn't seem to get the message!
Back when Albert had to wear his Elizabethan collar, one time when he was
riding in the back he managed to get his head with the collar stuck between
the front seats!! Try as he might hubby could not get that dog's head out of
there and finally had to actually lift Albert up and over the seats!! (No
easy task!! He was about 80 pounds then!!)
After the Pyr Versatility Hike Heidi, Albert's sister and best bud, got in
the back seat of their Toyota and actually tried to lay between the back of
front seat and backseat on the floor!! There's only about 8 inches of space
there if that. Her head and hip and one leg were sticking up and she looked
pathetic. Why did she want to even try that?? We kept wondering if she was
stuck!! Got 2 good photos of her like that!
They really don't seem to have a clue how big they've gotten.....UNLESS
reaching something they shouldn't have enters into the picture!! Then they are
always trying to see how big they are and what they can reach!!
