Janice, a woman after my own heart! Sounds like such a great party! We're
already planning Ivy Rose's 6th birthday (November 23)--her first with us,
but it will have to be very low key, given her persistent shyness! With
Paddington we can go all out.
On Sunday, we took our boy to a St. Francis Day blessing of the animals
celebration, and of course he was a hit. Best of all, he behaved like a
stellar example of his breed, friendly to all and didn't even try to get
after the cats! Most remarkable, when the celebrant, who is *not* an
animal person, was blessing him, she was stroking his head, which just
happened to be right under her hand. I don't think she knows yet that she
did so! Ivy Rose was blessed in absentia through a photograph!
