 I am so sorry for your loss. Nobody could ever say you did not love your dog.
Nor would i say that you are weak or a failure, sometimes things must be done
to protect, not only the people around you but also to protect the breed. In
my adventures of rescue i have had to put only one dog down and it was for
aggressiveness. I fully understand what it is to lose a dog you love to this
problem.Please i dont want you to feel you have done the wrong thing here, It
sounds as if you did the only thing that was right for this dog...

dont get yourself down over it. mourn your lose and forget the rest...
