The vet does not have any idea of what set off this recent episode with Sam.
He was throwing significant numbers of oxalate crystals in his urine, was
anemic, white blood cell count through the roof, unrelenting fever and
jaundice.  We did a full blood work up, urinalysis, scan and contrast x-rays
with not firm diagnosis made.

Thirty  days of anitbiotics brought the "infection under control", but did
not relieve all of the symptoms.

The vet feels that he will likely continue with these episodes...so, now we
wait.
