I have to put my 2 cents in - Saturday at the Tanana Valley Kennel Club
Shows both my daughter and I were in the BIS line-up.  Renee's Whippet
won Hound Group l and then Jaime  won a Working Group l.  So, for the
first time in Alaskan Dog Show History, a mother and daughter were
competing for BIS each with dogs they had bred.   We didn't win - a
Chinese Crested from Washington State did.  Sunday Jaime made the cut in
the Group, but didn't place.  Monday he walked.  All three BIS went to
dogs from out of State.  :(   Ruth
