 That said I'm still interested in debuggers for my script as I believe it 
 serves a purpose.
 
 There are as I see it two major differences:
 
 1) Frank's method is debugged already :)
 
 2) I have a stand-alone method; Frank's requires you to have bgblitz
 installed.
 
 And having said THAT, I give full credit to Frank for making available a
 top-flight backgammon software at a price that normal human beings can
 afford to pay.
