The suicide rule is not relevant here because there is an explicit
subrule that if you capture something that makes the new stone safe,
it is OK.
However, the potential for infinite games is of course not good, so
there is another rule for this situation, called the KO rule. (From a
Japanese word)
This rule states that you cannot make a move that recreates the
previous board situation. Some rule sets say ANY previous situation,
some say only the immediately previous situation. This difference is
rarely important.
In your situation this means that if you move elsewhere, O can capture
your stone at E1. And the ko rule will prevent you from capturing
back immediately.
What you would have to do then would be to make a move elsewhere,
hopefully forcing O to respond to you there, and then capture back in
the ko. This is called a ko fight.
