I would like to suggest one change in the game, if I may.
Would you be able to make the designations of one axis alphabetic?
For example;
   a b c d e f
6 
5 
4 
3 
2 
1 

instead of
      1 2 3 4 5 6 
    6  
    5  
    4  
    3  
    2  
    1  


then it would be easier to understand where d3 is instead of 34, and if
someone accidentally wrote 3d it would mean the same thing, the game
engine would be able to figure out that the player meant d3.
