[pbmserv-dev] Backgammon Idea
one of the complaints I have about backgammon is the random nature of the
dice. How about we remove that factor?
at the start of the game, each player gets 36 "chits", each with one of the
36 possible die rolls.
1-1 1-2 1-3 1-4 1-5 1-6
2-1 2-2 2-3 2-4 2-5 2-6
3-1 3-2 3-3 3-4 3-5 3-6
4-1 4-2 4-3 4-4 4-5 4-6
5-1 5-2 5-3 5-4 5-5 5-6
6-1 6-2 6-3 6-4 6-5 6-6
Each turn a player chooses one of those to use. And that eliminates that
chit from his list of available chits. When all are used, you get a fresh
set of 36.
That'd make abgammon [ab(stract) (back)gammon] truely deterministic.
