Ideally, risque should be rewritten to use sharkey's perlgame.pm. That would right away build in aliases, "join" and "message" (I think). Hopefully we'll smarten up perlgame.pm so it has time limits too.
As for your suggestion, we should probably do what the Diplomacy emailers do. One has the ability to send in commands but also "set wait". That tells the server not to process the turn until everybody unsets "wait". If the deadline passes, your turn will
process as sent in, but until then you can change it and then remove "wait" when you're ready.
