Re: [pbmserv-dev] ratings

Having looked a bit into the chushogi code (still haven't got this
Tenjiku stuff going -- are you listening, Sharkey?), this should be
*really* easy. The fast hack would be to double the stuff, hardcode
the ifs asking about dai to return true (or false in the chu code) and
change the name accordingly to receive separate listings. I guess it
would be about 5 minutes for Sharkey and about 30 mins for me to
figure it out (and I wouldn't call myself an experienced programmer
and I'm definitely hopeless at C++). But how many Dai Shogi boards are
there out there and how many finished games of Dai? Anyone out there
playing Dai Shogi who does not have a lot more Chu games running? I'm
aware of two games of Dai running; if that's all we have over the last
year or so?

I second this. Dai Shogi and Chu Shogi are very different in look and feel
(at least to a Chu Shogi player). It's like having Chess and Doublechess
as the same game.
