Richard, would you mind if I kept statistics about a game?   Meaning,
that everytime a game is started, a file in the etc/ directory is
updated with the statistics concerning how many games used a hexagonal
board versus an orthogonal board and how many times each size of board
was used.  I have written Hexamazons in which the player may choose
1) type of board (orthogonal or hexagonal)
2) size of board (from 9 to 26)
3) number of players (from 2 to 4) (BTW: 3-player Hexamazons is great! 
It is nicely balanced on the board, since the board is 6-sided.  :-)
4) I also wish to add some other options.

I wish to keep track of how many of these options are used and keep
a count of each option.  Just to fulfill curiousity.  :-)

Would Richard mind if I created a file with these stats?  I would not
keep any userids or keep statistics with regard to a specific userid
or person.  Also, anyone would be allowed to do a "stats" command to
get a printout of all these statistics.
