I don't know if this is totally useful to you, but we used to have an
issue working in CodeWarrior under Macintosh. There is a concept of
global array space, and this *can* fill up. We had to enlarge the
memory space several times. This, however, was a large application, and
I can't imagine that bg would take up all that mem (in the MB I think).
However, I could imagine that it would be possible...
I guess make sure you have freed up any array pointers before shifting
them around...
