RE: [pbmserv-dev] Plakoto: board size option?
There is already a option to store info about limits, seeking, number of
games active, so
to store other preferences may not be a problem. There is two kind of
preferences (set pref and challenge pref)
The challenge pref you choose to show it on the list of standings.
I havenīt seen the sources, but it looks like if the sources of the
standings needed to be changed richard is one to ask.

Subject: [pbmserv-dev] Plakoto: board size option?
Can someone help me here? A player was complaining to me that the board
of plakoto was two lines taller than the old board of backgammon and
because of that it no longer fit completely on his screen. Now I know
that that is a rather petty complaint, but the fact is, long ago I once
made a similiar complaint and suggested to programmers to try the best
they can to make the boards as small as possible. Ok, so I know how to
shrink the plakoto board by two lines and get it back to the original
size of a backgammon board. I believe that there is a way to accept
a command to show different board sizes but my question is; is there a
way to store this preference for a particular player for a specific type
of game? I wish to do this so that the player will not have to send in
the boardsize command for each board he starts. I want it done
automatically for all games of plakoto he starts playing in.
