Re: [HOE] Stone's Stats (spoiler)
Technically, I think you might be correct - there could easily be two
Stones.
The "original" Stone was sent back in time and relived the last several
hundred years, which is why he is so unbelieveably powerful.
The twisted fact of the matter is, the Stone that would have still been
around when Stone from the future returned to the Weird West was still
around. Apparently due to some bizarre quirk of time travel, in the HOE
timeline this means there were two Stones.
Young Stone, however, does not seem to be around anymore in the 21st
century. I don't know why, off hand, or even if that information has been
published yet. Is it in the Devil's Tower trilogy by chance?
As for keeping him dead, it's very true. Look at Raven (and possibly
Grimme, too, for that matter), who didn't stay dead. Stone is a servitor of
Death (some would say THE servitor if Death)... there can't be anyone with
a better chance of not staying dead than this guy.

spoilers
could have sworn these were published at one point in a PEG product, but
seeing as 1) there are two Stones, and 2) Stone is a servitor, all that can
be done is put him down temporarily....
