[HOE] Animal Companions

I was looking in MMM at the animal companion stuff and I noticed
something. It says how many aptitude point dogs and horses get, but not
birds and cats. also there no basic skill listed for bird and cats. And
eagle woul;d n't have a free level of brawlin" or a cat wouldn't get a
free level of sneak?

anyone know the answers to these?
