My vague memories of seeing images of a traditional leather-clad biker
with a flaming skull seem to ring true. That's what I remember, at
least. It's too bad that they nerfed the character as the comic
companies seem to have done. I'm not a big comic fan, but I'll buy
collections when they are well done. The one thing I dislike is the
number of comics that seem to attempt to alienate the old fans with a
new version...

Does it really matter in the end? I think a number of the Twisted metal
characters could be used as inspiration for Road Warrior heroes or
villians.

Was he wearing a mask or make-up? I know TM has gone through versions,
but having the actual 'relic' that causes the problem center on
something else might make it even worse. Maybe the red nose? (although
that's giving me flashbacks to Pratchett's Men at Arms)
And will the truck have the 'mecha' attack from Twisted Metal: Black?
