[HOE] Massive damage

Well matey.

"Stay a while, and listen." While I tell you a yarn
that happened long, long ago. When The Wild Bunch (My
Posse) was doin' the Destroyer mission.

The Wild Bunch was at that time made out of:

Juan Jose de la Pena Serrizuela Gonzales:
(me) a mad mexican with a gun nastier than the west
ever seen. He has over 65 men to his name. They
should've known better than to mess with the mexican.
No one can beat the mexican.....

"Crazy" Zergej Petrovski:
One craaaaaazy russian. You have never met a man who
can kick ass like this. Although, he has a gentle
heart, always willing to help. And he lives by a
strong code of honor.

"Judge" Joe Bar:
A law-dog straight outta the city o' sin. He got tired
of always beating the crap outta muties, so he decided
to stroll out into the wasted west. An honorous man
who always seems to know what he wants. This dude is
probably the smartest man you will ever know, if he
hasn't heard about, it doesn't exist.



This story relates to massive damage in a rather
painful manner. We were trailing a band of raiders.
They had a spook juice truck. Zergej decided to jump
on top of it to fix the situation. One of the poor
raiders decided to join him on top of the truck. When
Zergej showed himself on top of the truck, he saw the
raider holding a cigar over the opened hatch to the
spook juice. He shot the raider in the hand, and as
all the bad-luck in the world combined to one grand
force; the cigar fell in with the spook juice. To make
a long story short; baaaaaaaaang!!!!!!!! 
All posse members wound up with 17 wounds each. Now,
if it hadn't been for the fact that we all get 4 chips
a session, and in my case 5. We would've all been
dead. But yes, we fainted. So if the raiders hadn't
died from the explosion, they would have killed us. 

So to answer your question Mr Pedersen, yes, it does
work that way. We have all fainted several times as a
result of the massive damage. And no matter what, our
armor will not hold forever. Another reason we
survived was because of the way we share fate chips
(read my post about fate chips if you haven't already)
