I think it should.  'Course you can only Seize the Pearl so often, and only
up to certain damage values, so you probably won't be able to stop all the
incoming lead...

This is how two Texas Rangers in my posse put down a harrowed martial
artist -- fanned their Winchester's at him until all the Seizing the Pearl
of Death became Eatin' the Pearl o' Death.  Not quite automatic weapons
fire, but close!
