First off, I will explain why I am cross posting this. I am interested in what some DL players have to say about which books to use. Not being fully "boned up" on my knowledge of DL books, I am hoping that some veteran DL players could give me a hand.
Now. I have LC's setting is much like DL's. They are both just being colonized. I have decided that because of this, LC is actually closer to DL than HoE (correct me if I'm wrong).
In regards to the books that would be useful (for both HoE and DL), these are the books that I have found would be useful and why:
Iron Oasis, Road Warriors, and Shattered Coast (HoE): Vehicle rules and Scrapper rules (IO)
Brainburners (HoE): for the rare syker, and possible greenie info (Would they be on Banshee?)
Waste Warriors (HoE): Fu Fighters and Soldiers
Player's Guide (DL): This is where the cross post come in. I'm thinking the Player's because of the colonial type info and resource info. Also as a list of really good archetypes.
Quick and the Dead (DL): Same as the Player's Guide
Fire & Brimstone (DL): I'm sure that no blessed would have passed up a chance to do mission work on Banshee.
Hucksters & Hexes: Come on. They're everywhere else. Why not Banshee?
Hexarcana (DL): You can never have enough nuns and hucksters.
Any more books that I missed? Changes to my list? Is Denver (HoE) of any real use? MMM? RVC?
