Yah, the general comment made around my circle of friends was that it was a great opportunity to legitimize the hobby by producing something that the general public would appreciate - and the D&D Movie blew it.

I think the only redeeming part of that movie was Zoe McLellan in her +1 stretch velvet.  :-)
