OLD MESILLA POSTAL HEADQUARTERS, NEW MEXICO – Beverly Smalls, the newly
elected Postmistress, has the unfortunate duty of reporting the death of a
Templar going by the name of Hutch. He was discovered beaten and shot to
death in one of the local orchards. His companions Robby Reynolds and Slice
are offering a nine hundred round reward for the capture of the perpetrators
as well as the return of Hutch’s one of a kind energy blade.

MESQUITE RANCH, TEXAS – Local residents are seeking aid in unraveling the
riddle of the murder of six Junkers in town. Over the past two weeks, two
local technoshaman and four visiting from the Engineer’s Society in Arizona
were discovered dead under mysterious circumstances. The cause of death is
under investigation but a preliminary inquiry points to heart attacks. The
Junkers in question were collaborating on a project to run power lines
across Texas for seven settlements. All of the Junker’s gear, along with
their bodies, is currently in storage with the Ranch’s doctor, Nigel Phelps.
There are rumors making the rounds that all of the deceased were using their
computers when they died.
