TUGWELL BASTION HAYS, KANSAS – Vincent Tugwell, heir to the fortress/trading
post of Tugwell Bastion, was found murdered in his office three days ago.
Cause of death seems to be the radical removal of his skull. His father, the
prominent and controversially opinioned Christian Tugwell, has put a four
thousand round bounty for the head of a caravan guard named Snowy Owl. The
individual sought for questioning was last seen on a caravan bound for
Cheyenne Wells, Colorado. Christian Tugwell could not be reached for further
comment.

HOUMA BAYOU, LOUISIANA – Tragedy has struck the floating town as Jonas Lyle,
the acting mayor, was found dead on his houseboat last night. The crime has
been declared a murder by visiting Law Dog “Steel” Zachary. The body was
discovered in his office by Leslie Fish, Lyle’s part time assistant. Fish
has also pointed out that there are a number of maps missing from the Mayor’
s collection. Local doctors were unavailable for comment concerning the
manner of the Mayor’s death.
