Re: [HOE] Catholic Saints
Unless you look at the recently posted Saints link. There it says he is
one and it seems to be a catholic source.
I did much research on St George once, due to a character I had made up in
Weird West who was an original Templar Knight (before Simon) working for
the secret Order. Her inspiration and role model was St George and it led
her to fall in love with an angel who chose to walk amongst mortals - and
led the both of them along with a posse of daredevils to defeat some
attrocious evils. When last we left off, the posse was about to time travel
due to a Syker who had come back to retrieve them. We were headed for the
Wasted West. I was always amused at the idea of what Lexi was going to do
if she ever encountered Simon, or one of his men. Too bad that game had to
end there.
In any case, even if the Catholic Church doesn't recognize him, many
Catholics seem to. He's a rather important symbol in the UK, from what
I've heard.
