[HOE] Unity (my posses run)

Here is the tale of my posse running through the Unity. it happened this
morning between midnight and 7:00. it was an all nighter. I'm still up
and wired so here is my reltelling. oh, incase you folks didn't guess
this is spoiler space....

Boo. Okay, the posse was rather small today. Lt. Kyle Hicks (Operation
Domacles), Lenny (Doomsayer), and Bob (winged doomsayer). When they line
up near Provo, Lenny recognizes Joan. 

"I go and say hi to Joan."
"You're preparing for war and you stop and say hi?"
"Well she IS the leader of my cult!"

How do you argue with that.

They get through everything pretty uneventfully (Bob takes a majority of
the damage, and it continues to be the theme of the night) until Raven's
horde crashed the chopper. The three of them worked quite well together
using C4, Doomstones, and Fusion to take out a large amount of undead...
and most of the building. THey made it into the sewers, and were
swollowed by the worm and belched out into the plains of Denver. Lenny
and Hicks took no damage, but poor Bob suffered 7 wounds to the guts and
1 each to a leg and an arm. He used what was left of his chips to get
back down to 3 wounds in the guts. They were all pretty freaked out by
the worm thing. later on when Cole and Raven tangle, after Raven has
declared whom he is and the marshal mentions that cole knows Raven has
one weakness, Lenny delivers a great line. 

(shouting)"Cole! His weakness is LOVE! Give him a hug!" (whispering to
the posse) "let's get the hell out of here!" 
 
Then the get to the APC. THe things gets blasted by the voracipedes and
after they defeat the things (failing to save Jenny Quaid) the realize
that no one has tinkerin' to repair the damn thing. I let them roll
smarts witha penalty, but then they end up busting and breaking the thing
even more. After watching the monster death rally, the APC "miraculously"
starts again and they get going. by the time we are on our way to space,
and Lenny and Hicks are suiting of for space, Bob mentions, 
"I don't suppose any of these thing have wings do they?"

Well, there wern't so he had to wait inside while Lenny and Hicks turned
on the power to the Unity, but he made it in time for the Murder scene,
much to his regret. The posse didn't quite beleive the whole murder
thing. They're used to me being a very easy and kind Marshal, who
discourages inter-posse combat. Then it came down to veteran soldier Kyle
Hicks, Crafty Doomie Lenny, or Winged radslinging doomie Bob with 3 wound
to the guts and a freshly maimed left arm. Hicks first tried to
discreetly off Bob. bob caught him and forgave him. this is when my posse
thought there was still another way out. then Lenny used fusion on Bobs
clothes, binding his arm at his side and then slowing himdown with goo
bomb. Kyle chose the weakest link and splattered Bob's brains across the
engine room. The rest we'll finish later becasue we were getting to tired
and we wanted to savor the Brain glom battle. 

Quite a night it was... or morning.... god my fiance is gonna kill me.
