You're right. Deadlands doesn't say that one way is "right". Hellstromme
even explains that the only reason the Reckoners came as the Fore
horsemen is because Raven summoned them against the White folks moving
in, who were primarily Christian. But as for the Hell of Sucides, I think
thats just a cultural view point of the good doctor and his researchers.
Hellstromme, who was also white, english, and prabably grew up in a
Christian society (whether he was or not) probably just applied that term
to an "area" of hell for the souls of those who took there own lives in
despair and pain, like Vanessa. Other cultures who see sucide as an
honorable thing, a way to save your families honor, etc. probably arn't
here.
