i got a copy i ordered from my local store, it's
$19.95. it's listed as a trade paperback. it is a paperback, not hard bound.
it's also over sized, in both content, about 464 pages i believe and actually
page size. 5"x8", vs 4"x7" of a standard paperback. the standard price for
books that size are about $15 from large publishing houses; my wife reads 1
author and all her books are published in that size, the most recent 1 cost
$15.
so $19 isn't too much of an increase. i've bought
comic books compliation, like preacher and blade of the immortal, that had alot
fewer pages for that price. preacher's price could be 'justified' because
it's in color, but blades is all black and white.
also it's a great read. it's 1 of the few things
that keep me from playing online mmorpgs. which i've done, almost nightly for
over 3 years.
i don't know how much it will spoil lost colony or
the unity stories/scenarios/adventures; but, then again, i'm the GM.
