[HOE] Blast raduis of grenades (re-send)
This didn't go through the first time:
Does the blast radius of grenades in HoE (and dynamite in deadlands) seem
kinda big to everyone? With a grenade/dynamite doing 4d12 with a burst
radius of 10, that means that the effects of the explosion extend out to
50 yards. That means one grenade will effect an entire (american) football
field length (admittedly at the ends only barely). That seems kinda big to
me. Admittedly my only experience with explosives is watching them in
movies though, so does anyone know if this is accurate?
My gut reaction is to reduce the radius to 5 yards, but maybe the
explosions are actually as big as PEG says...
I did a search on grenades and found:
http://www.kik-kamnik.com/eng/kik/Dejavnost/piro/vadb_boj.htm
They list the lethal range of a grenade as 12m (13y) and that it wounds
out to 30m (33y). So that seems to follow with my 5y blast radius. Anyone
else have any thoughts?
